Lion Bookmark
This was originally printed on UK Days Out. It's a cheap craft idea, and the method can
be adapted to make lots of fun designs, such as a scary monster or barking dog.
You will need:
Card
Scissors
Ruler
Pens, pencils or paint

Cut out a rectangle of card measuring 4.5cm by 18cm.
Measure 7cm from the top of the bookmark and draw a line. Then draw another line 1.5cm beneath that (8.5cm from the top of the card).
Fold along the lines so that the bookmark forms a 'Z' shape.

Draw your lion (or own design) onto the card.
|
|
|
You will need to draw the picture so that the top and bottom lips align when the bookmark is in the closed position.

|
Colour in the lion using pen, pencil or paint.
|
|
Your bookmark is complete!
